Last Saturday’s final rounds in 2026 Winter Sport season marked the conclusion of another outstanding chapter in Knox Sport.
Students represented Knox in Combined Associated Schools (CAS) competitions with pride and perseverance, contributing to a successful season.
The results tell one part of the story. Our student representatives reflect on the teamwork, commitment and community that defined Winter Sport 2026.
“Looking back on what has been a very successful winter season across all age groups, I’m proud of every boy who pulled on a Knox jersey this year,” said Chris (Year 12), Captain of Rugby. “Whether it was your first season in the Black and Blue or your last, every player contributed to what makes Knox Rugby so special. As I finish my own final season, I especially want to thank my fellow Year 12s for everything you have given to the program over the years. We’ve shared some incredible moments together, and our journey through the Knox program is something we’ll never forget.
“A massive thank you as well to all the parents, coaches, referees, medical staff and volunteers, along with everyone else who contributed to the season in any capacity. So many people give up their time each week to get the boys onto the field, and your support means a lot to all of us. It has been a privilege to be part of Knox Rugby, and I couldn’t be prouder of the boys and everyone who made the 2026 season so special.”
“The 2026 Winter Season was another outstanding one for Tennis, capped off by winning the premiership for the eighth consecutive season,” said Miles (Year 12), Captain of Tennis. “That kind of sustained success is a reflection of the hard work, discipline and commitment the boys have brought to training and matches week in, week out. Beyond the results, it was fantastic to see great efforts from boys across every level of Tennis this season, showing genuine passion, respect and competitiveness on court which is a brilliant way to close out the season.”
“The perseverance of the boys throughout both terms showing how the teams had grown not only in terms of skill but as people too, the passion they showed whilst training and playing positively reflected the high standards set by coaches,” said Cameron (Year 12), Captain of Volleyball.
“The Orienteering squad this Winter Season has shown a continued development of their skills, fitness, friendships and connections both within the squad and in the wider Orienteering community,” said William (Year 12), Captain of Orienteering. “Overall, an amazing season for everyone involved.”

In 2025, Knox Grammar and Wahroonga Prep joined the Independent Schools NSW 'Respectful Relationships: Proactive Education' initiative. The program is designed to strengthen a whole-school approach to respectful relationships, helping young people develop the knowledge, skills and dispositions required to build healthy and respectful interactions throughout their lives.

Congratulations to Knox Debating on another outstanding season. Knox retained the CAS Debating Shield for Best Overall School for the sixth consecutive year and claimed the Open Firsts Trophy after an undefeated season.
