Facing fierce national competition, our students—alongside their NSW teammates—showcased not only their athletic skills but also their resilience in an unfamiliar environment and challenging weather conditions.
Amid a tightly packed program and high-pressure environment, the team stayed focused and supported one another with genuine camaraderie. They embraced the experience with enthusiasm and enjoyment, and represented Knox Grammar School and New South Wales with pride. Their results speak volumes, but even more impressive was the spirit in which they competed. Whether on the blocks, in the pool, or cheering from the stands, they supported each other with energy, humility, and enjoyment.
Hudson (Year 9), selected as part of the NSW Leadership Team, said “School Sport Australia Swimming Championships was a great event where I was able to connect with new and old friends from across Australia, and I got to know everyone from Year 7 to Year 12. It’s always a fun event with tough and exciting racing. I look forward to next year and what the School Sport Swimming Championships will bring.”
Thank you to all the parents who supported their sons throughout the week, and congratulations to our students on another strong conclusion to the School swimming pathway. Keep up the good work!
