Thank you to the Te-Kworo Foundation for visiting our school. Te-Kworo is a community-based organisation dedicated to providing education, healthcare, and social protection for girls and women in Uganda.
Knox Grammar School
Our Years 11 and 12 boys engaged thoughtfully with Alice Achan (Founder and Executive Director) and Stella Jane Okot (Program Manager, Education), gaining deeper insight into the challenges faced by girls in accessing education as well as the meaningful process being made through Te-Kworo's work.
We are proud that our students’ contributions during the International Women’s Day assembly earlier this year have resulted in full scholarships for three girls for an entire year. The scholarships cover boarding, food, and both physical and medical healthcare, creating a tangible and life-changing impact on their educational journey and future career pathways.
We look forward to continuing to strengthen our partnership with the Te-Kworo Foundation through Knox Forward – our Senior School program focused on for moving together with purpose, for people and planet.
