Knox Grammar School has been a leader of Positive Education for the past 12 years. Central to this is our bespoke Knox Total Fitness Model, which aims to equip students with the skills and practices to thrive in life well beyond their school years.
Over the past year, the Knox Total Fitness model has been rigorously reviewed and updated to reflect the current research literature. We are proud to share our updated Knox Total Fitness Action Model, incorporating practical evidence-based interventions in positive psychology and wellbeing science which underpin the wellbeing of our students and broader school community.

At Knox, we recognise the importance of working in partnership with parents to support the wellbeing of our students. Our Science of Wellbeing Team publishes a fortnightly Parent Support Series – parenting articles that are practical and grounded in research evidence on a range of parenting topics. The Knox Science of Wellbeing (SOW) Team aims to enhance the wellbeing and thriving of each member of our school community. Bringing together a team of Clinical Psychologists, PhD researchers and experienced educators, the team works to promote the practical application of evidence-based wellbeing science initiatives and promote flourishing in our staff and students.
