Knox will host the 2016 Australian Pipe Band Championships. The contest will be a two day event and will be held on 1-2 October 2016 in the grounds of Knox.

On Wednesday 25 March, Knox competed in the Local Heat of the Interschool Chess Challenge at Ku-Ring-Gai Town Hall in Pymble and came away in First Place.
