Across Term 2, 54 Year 11 and 12 students from Knox and Pymble committed to weekly training, refining their analytical techniques and working carefully to minimise titration errors. Each session demanded both discipline and attention to detail, while fostering a strong sense of collegiality as students encouraged one another in achieving greater accuracy.
As one of the final co-curricular moments for Year 12, the competition saw ten Pymble teams and eight Knox teams compete in groups of three, with results determined by the lowest aggregated error score.
Knox performed strongly, securing both second and third place:
A particularly noteworthy achievement came from Brandon (Year 11), who recorded a score of zero – a perfect titration and an exceptional result.
The day was a fitting celebration of commitment, discipline and scientific excellence, and a testament to the dedication of all students involved.
