Four student bands from the Senior School vied for rock glory in front more than 1,500 of their peers in the annual Knox Battle of the Bands competition.
Year 11 band Trashwater (Jed Kohlmann, James Layman, Tyler Murray, Ollie MacGregor and Richard Leonard) won the competition with their performances of Arctic Monkeys 'Are You Mine' and an original song, 'Escape'.
The students from Trashwater won a recording session at Sony Music Australia.
Each band played an original and a cover song to audience of the entire Senior School.
