Sport
The Physical Education program at WPS offers the students the opportunity to learn and practice the skills required to play a variety of sports during P.E. lessons, and the chance to implement them in co-operative and competitive situations during sport.
In addition to our regular program, all students participate in ancillary days including the school sports carnival, cross-country carnival and swimming program.
Students may be selected to represent WPS at IPSHA interschool carnivals in athletics, swimming and cross-country.
All students in years 1 to 4 are invited to join our school basketball club, which enters a number of teams of varying experience into the local competition each season.
