School Council

The WPS Council has an important role to play in the maintenance and continuation of the traditions of the School.

The responsibilities of the Council include:

• The financial management of the School
• Planning the future development of the School
• Appointing the Principal
• Setting the policies which guide the Principal in the day-to-day administration of the School.

The members of the WPS Council are primarily elected by the Uniting Church Synod. Mr John Oldmeadow, Director of the Board of Education of the Uniting Church is an ex-officio member.

The Principal attends meetings of the Council and they meet at the School on the 3rd Tuesday of each term.
